Transmission Fluid Leak

Transmission Fluid Leak
Hi all!
I've been a long-time lurker but I just now had a need to post. My Google searches and searches here didn't yield much and the mechanic I use for bigger issues than I can handle didn't seem at all concerned.
I have a 2004 EX-L with the 2.4 and an automatic. I have 133,000 miles and up to this point I've never had a single problem. Everything is factory original and I changed the transmission fluid every 60,000. I noticed that lately my transmission had been acting just a bit strange, being indecisive between gear changes and a little rough when the engine was cold. Today I decided I should change the transmission fluid and see if that evens it out. I got under the car and noticed that from the point where the two halves are mated there was fluid leaking. Not gushing, but enough that you could run your hand on it and it would be wet.
Has anybody else had this problem or do they know what it would possibly be? I know I'm probably going to end up needing a new transmission and that this isn't something my garage-taught self can fix.
