Guys,

Greetings I have an Honda Accord automatic transmission Ex 98. The problem that Im having is that when I try to switch from Parking to Reverse neutral or Drive it won't let me it stay stuck. I really don't know why is it doing it. most of the times I got to remove those 2 screw beside and sometimes doesn't do nothing just to keep fighting till I get her to the shift desire. I will really appreciate any help cuz every time if I wish to go out or anywhere the sameproblem.

It gets stuck in park? Do your brake lights work when it's doing that?

I was checking my brake lights and I saw that the upper one wasn't working. Do you mean cuz of the fuse light Im having that problem???

LOL, the bulb wasn't your problem.

 

You may still have a flaky switch on the brake pedal. The bulb shouldn't matter.

The switch on the brake pedal does BOTH - switches the brake lights, and tells the shifter interlock that you're stepping on the brake pedal.
