i have the same car pretty much, except mine is the SE sedan, and i had this same thing happen to me last night.

i just got finished taking everything apart and got the shifter moving freely. there is only one problem, and its a pretty big one at that. in all gear selections except d4 and d3, the transmission is engaged in reverse. in d4/d3 the car is in neutral.

i really am clueless on this one, and looking through the other threads proved fruitless. any input anyone has would be great.
