transmisson flare
i have a 97 accord with auto transmission. and it has a flare in between shifts only during cold temps. im pretty sure the seals are shot in the trans. i took some autotrans classes in school and i think that is what is wrong. has anyone ever had this same prob? fill me in. thanks

could be bad clutch pack o-rings or sticking upshift valves,, assuming you got planty of fluid
I would replace the fluid, use Honda ATF-Z1 and if you can get your hands on a BG tranny flush kit , i would try it first.. it comes in 2 bottles detergent and conditioner
get the detergent can and just add it to the tranny ,, drive the car for about 25-30 miles, drain the tranny fluid , add 2 qts of ATF-Z1 and the can of conditioner .. drive the car around as normal see if that helps..
anothe thing you can try is to remove the shift solenoid, clean the metal screen, if you got access to compressed air , blow in the tranny opening , put all together and drive it..
make sure that the wiring to solenoid are ok
by the way D lite on ?? if so, you need to read the code and post it here
