RE: transmisson fluid
first off, is it a manual or automatic? I believe either way there should be a drain plug towards the bottom of tranny, I believe it just takes a 1/2" drive socket wrench to remove it, that will allow you to drain it, as far as filling it goes that depends on auto or manual, if it's a manual you will have another plug located higher up on the tranny, usually towards the back of the car (resembles an oil drain plug) remove that and the bottom one, drain the fluid, put the bottom plug in and get a funnel with a long flexible neck (to make life easier) then pour the fluid into the upper plug hole, if it starts coming out then it should be full, start up the car run it for a little bit and then check your level... Actually I'm assuming now that you have an automatic since you're looking at the fluid color.... In that case (don't quote me on this) but I believe in some vehicles you actully have to pour it down the dipstick tube, someone should clarify that shortly....

*ROFL* I'm so dislexic when it comes to 3/8 and 1/2 it's horrible.... If I see it then I'm fine but when I'm trying to explain it I use them interchangeably.... thanks for the followup desert
