The master tech at the shop I work at asked about this when he went to Honda school and was told that the 03+ I4 Accords only get it if they are noisy. He was told that the K series has roller rockers and rarely need adjustment. I have 67k on my 03 I4 and they still are not making any noise. One catch is that the injectors on the 03+ are very noisy so make sure you don't confuse the noise as the valves.

what about my 94 EX SOHC Vtec, does the 30k rule apply? Is this something I could do myself? Never tried it on a honda before but I've done it on Pinto's/Mustang II's... Pretty much the same?

what is the valve lash supposed to be at for a 94 accord ex? is intake ..10 mm exh .012 mm correct? and just to make sure I understand for my vehicle, at TDC I'm on #1, Counterclockwise 90 is #3, 90 more to #4, then 90 more to #2? is that correct?

go-nogo gauges... and I thought those were only for a .50 Cal headspace and timing adjustment in the military... *L*

YOU GOT IT......if you read the direction and follow them, it is a piece of cake... make sure engine is cold before adjusting valves,,
