Ethanal is a definite problem for everyone. Try cleaning out your throttle body and swapping out your plugs. Check your wires to make sure they arent grounding out or at the very least arcing. When your oil change is up switch to full synthetic if you havent already. Check your air filter to make sure its clean. Also if you use the same gas station, switch to another one and see if that makes a difference.

Default Very poor mileage 2005 accord

I am with slow eddy. I have an 05 4cyl auto with 32000 miles which gets 19 city and 23 hwy and these are the best I have been able to achieve in teh past 6 months with the car. I have noticed the trans torque converter lockup rarely activating or staying active with a slight throttle change. This is the first car owned in 25 years that did not provide something close to fuel economy ratings. With all the transmission failures reported in internet, I would consider a normally excessive slipping transmission a primary cause of poor fuel economy and transmission failure. In my case the driving style is not a cause, but must be a difficult to define or diagnose flaw in the automobile [even if the flaw is normal]. I looks forward to continuing posts.
