Vibration at 70km/h
Im new to the forum and new to the world of accord so Id like to greet everyone here. Recently I bought a 2000 Accord V6 Coupe with 72000 km on the odometer which is in excelent shape. While driving it in the city I noticed that the car slightly starts to vibrate just as I reach 65km/h and peaks at 70. The vibration seems to go away when I go over 90. This vibration isn't constant, it's varying...more of a "whooing" sound that comes and laves every 2-3 seconds. I should note that tha car was in a small accident prior to when I bought it but the repairs were only cosmetics. If anyone has an idea of what it might be, your advice is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

RE: Vibration at 70km/h
First, I'd check the wheel balance. Ask the shop to check for bent wheels, because most balancing machines have safety covers that block your view of the wheel as it's spinning.
Since you're new to Accords, this next suggestion might not be so easy... But the best way to check this out is borrow a set of wheels from another Accord. If it still vibrates, then you know it can't possibly be bent or unbalanced wheels. Then you'd know to start looking for loose ball joints or things like that.

first off. Welcome to HAF..........
i have to agree with Jim on this one
try this....Rotate the frt tires to the rear ( rt frt to rt rear , left frt to left rear ) , make sure pressure is correct 30-34 psi.. and test drive it, see if it helps at all..

If you swap front-to-rear and it still vibrates, try to notice whether it CHANGES. That would indicate a wheel/tire problem. You can usually tell when the problem moves to a different corner.
