Default Vibration at around 52 and up

I have a 2005 Accord EX-V6 Coupe, it has less than 500 miles on it but I think there's a vibration in the front end when I hit around 52. Yesterday I didn't feel the vibration until around 65, but it was definitely there at 70. What could it be with such few miles on the car?? I have to bring it into the shop sometime, but I was just curious if anybody has any idea what it is. Thanks.

Sounds like alignment to me. The dealer should take care of that for you.
BTW Do you have a son or daughter with a drivers license? Well if you do there is your answer why I think that lol

I had this on my 2004 Accord, but it was after my accident. It was a broken axle. In your case, the alignment is probably correct.

Mis-allignment would not produce vibration. An unbalanced wheel or out of round tire sure will. Do check all of the tire pressures to make sure they are correct and go use your warranty.

What?! I was driving my father 04 Range Rover (yes it deserves the correct punctuation lol) and took it for an offroad bit of fun and knocked the alignment out of it by doing it. The steering wheel was wobbling and... wait that was all it was doing... not the whole truck.

Well with a severe off road hit on a Range Rover I can see it but we're talking about a brand new car.

I would have your wheels re-balanced as this may cause vibration at certain speeds. Might possibly be a warped brake rotor that is causing the vibration during high speed braking. I would chat with the dealer on this issue for sure. Like the other guy had said. "Take advantage of that warranty". ~best of luck

Your best bet is as RTexasF has said and that is too have the tires inspected and rebalanced first.
And by the way, do you remember hitting some curb stones or falling into some BIG Chuck Holes since you bought that car???

And by the way [sm=welcomesign.gif] to the forums...

...um i just thought i should post here to add my 50 cents to the threat! hehe

i wonder whats your offbalance for the rim - on my 94 I check and/or balance the tires every 2-3 months - i rarely get more than 0.75 to the side. i dont think honda rims would go over 1.5 ever. If you have off balance 2.0 oz or more - theres something wrong with a rim or balancing machine

I usually charge 15 bucks for tire balance - so don't be crazy spending more than 20$ for your tire balance (....just wanted to make sure you know the prices)

It's been a while since I've posted this, but I did take it back to the dealer, they said the balance was off a bit so they rebalanced all the tires....no luck, vibration is still there. I started to notice that it's getting worse when the car is cold, so I brought it back to the dealer and they looked at it again, decided they have to find somebody that has some machine that simulates road conditions and check the tires that way. We'll see...
