I had a bad problem with my car and vibrating. It was really bad on the freeways, then when i got home i looked the whole thing over, found nothing, then i looked at the tire and was like OMG, three of the five lugs were extremely lose. I think someone loosesnd them when they smashed my rear window, i was pissed.

The car is back at the shop today for the same vibration. This is the 6th time back for this in 5 months. I think if they can't figure out what is wrong with it this time I'm going to pursue the Lemon Law on this car. I think that will be a pain too, I wish they could just fix the car.

Jan,

You might ask the dealer to bring in a Honda representative, especially considering your complaint has been on file since 500 miles and has not been satifactorily repaired.
What brand of tires were the old & the replacements?

They replaced the old with the same kind, they're Bridgestone Turanze EL41 (05/60VR16). The guy told me yesterday that they're going to end up having to pay for the tires they replaced because the ones they sent back were perfectly fine. No defects of any kind. I had them check the rims yesterday and everything was fine there. They made some phone calls yesterday while it was there, they're district sales manager had a '05 Accord EX V6 like mine and he had the same vibration when it was cold. He called about the tires themselves and was told that they're a performance all season and they have a cold period that can produce the vibration I described. The guy in the shop had me test drive a brand new '05 Accord Coupe with 8 miles on it. It had the same vibration that mine has. It's really not that bad right now due to the temperature being in the 80's. I think part of the reason I feel it so bad is that I get onto a road and do over 50 right away, no city driving before hand. If I go through town I don't notice it much at all when I get on the highway. So now I'm in the process of finding a good tire to replace these with.

The Accord I test drove did in fact have the same tires as mine, I made sure of that. We also looked at all the 4 door V6 models and they had a different brand, Michelin's. When I bought the car they didn't have any 2 door V6's on the lot so I test drove a 4 door V6, which I'm guessing had the Michelin's on it. I did not notice any sort of vibration with the 4 door. I really liked the wheels that came on my '02 Accord Coupe EX V6. I slit it open in a car wash once, it was fixed, never had any problems. I ran over a couple screws and they fixed good. They were also really good in the snow. So I've decided I'm going to replace these tires with the same kind that were on the '02. I'm going to call the dealership and see if they can work with me on getting a good price on the tires and getting them put on. One good thing about this whole thing, I'm again happy with this dealership. I had my doubts because one of the service men a couple years ago was a complete ***hole, talked to me like I was a stupid girl. I actually wrote a couple page letter to the dealership. The guy no longer works there, but the guy I worked with this time was great. He didn't treat me like some stupid girl who doesn't know anything. Thanks everybody for your help with all this, I really appreciated it.

Sorry about the frustration you are experiencing. What brand of tires does the car have?
My guess: Firestone, Bridgestone or Goodyear, or some other inferior brand. Very poor, marginal design and construction.
My recommendation: Replace all tires with Michelin.
I have had 2 similar experiences with 2 different vehicles, both with Firestone or Goodyear tires. These are the cheapest, sorriest tires made. Don't fall for the "upgrade" to a "better" Firestone or Goodyear. They will vibrate also, just in a different way.
I switched to Michelin. My cars ride like they are on rails.
