Alright, so, took it to the most reputable transmission shop that was in the area. they had three different guys drive the car, put it in the air and ran it in the air, they checked all the mounts (engine, transmission), and both axles. they couldnt find anything that would cause it and said the transmission shifted fine. They said that it seemed like it had a miss. they got it to vibrate in all gears except 5th and said it seemed that the vibration depended on the engine rpms. Any suggestions? I will clean the EGR i just havent got around to picking up some silicone sealant yet.

seriously, im stumped. any ideas would be appreciated.

What are you using silicone sealant for?

Here is the link for cleaning EGR ports on the 94-97 accords.

im a fan of Ericthecarguy on youtube. he has a video specificly for this job and recommends using silicone sealant when reinstalling the injectors so they form a good seal again. In fact, a member that commented on the link you posted suggests him.

do you have any ideas on the vibration?

What you want is silicone paste. Silicone sealant (the stuff you would use to seal a bathtub) would be very bad.

If the vibration is occurring somewhere between ~1500-2200 rpm, then the EGR ports would be on the top of my list. They are a common problem and can cause an engine vibration that is essentially a miss.

When you replaced the CV boots, where did you get them? Were they re-manufactured?

Okay paste or sealant I knew which one to buy. I replaced the entire axle since both boots were weather checked. I tried a remanufactires one at first but I didn't work so I just bought a brand new one from napa.

HEYYYYYYYY EVERYBODY!!!! So i finally cleaned the EGR chambers and they were pretty gunked up. and from the 5 miles i have driven it, the vibration hasnt been as bad, but it is still definitively there. I noticed when i pulled the injectors that they were packed with carbon build up around the nozzle and up. should i look at replacing those as well? Oh and btw the car idles mint now, before it was idling right around the 400 rpm range, now its sitting steady at the 550-600 rpm range.
any thoughts?

Take a closer look at your tachometer. The first line past zero is the 500 mark, then 750 (there is no line for 250 rpm). You are probably idling at 700-750.

If carbon got that far up on the injectors, then you probably want to have them cleaned at a minimum. There are sites online that will do injector cleaning.

On my accord at 200K miles, I sent my injectors to be cleaned and flow tested. They pretty much worked like new before testing. You may be able to pick up some injectors at a u-pull-it type junkyard.

Yes sir you are right. She idles at a nice 750-800rpm. As for the injectors, I dont really have time to wait and get them cleaned, can I do it myself?
