Weird noise when needle drops past 2500 rpm
06 EX 4cyl 110k.
When the car is in park and I rev the rpm needle up to 3 or 4k, on the way back down the car makes a weird buzzing/vibration noise from inside the engine when it passes about 2500rpm. It doesn't make the noise on the way up only on the way down (when I take my foot off the gas pedal).
Anyone know what this could mean? It's a used car I'm might be buying.

Buzzing of exhaust heatshields?
If you can isolate the location of the sound & it's actually inside the enigne, then maybe it's the timing chain. If so, I'd look at the tensioner. Or possibly pass on buying the car. It might be an easy fix but if it needs a new chain that's a big job.
