what is this i pulled out of my car?If you know what this is and does please tell me

the only thing i can think of is maybe it connected to one of those old school car phones that you actually mounted in your car

i checked out that pdf file and came across a pic of a device that looked just like the box i have here, its got to be for a old car phone hookup

It's a Motorola transceiver.

Based on further review, it looks more like a Motorola GPS transceiver.

I ran the numbers up on Motorolas web site and they didn't come up for me with anything..almost sounds like an antenna for EM radio tho...

It's a Motorola GPS transceiver, in the ebay link I posted above, it shows a pretty much identical unit; but in a silver case. Copy and paste without the quotations marks (" ") to view.
