Default Wheel bearin?? need help

kk, so i have a 1998 honda accord ex 4dr "american" made with the f23a4.

after about 5-10minutes of hard riding and the wheels heat up, a persistent and constant squeak becomes apparent. i am currently having trouble trying to diagnose the problem and would like others input.

*just installed new rotors/pads, neither are the problem
* dust shield is pushed away
* caliper? its not stuck or anythin, and there not hanging up

so what else is there? a wheel bearin? the car does not pull in either direction, and the sound is present no matter what direction i steer. while driving or braking, the squeak is still present.

* a 2 minute cool down and the sound is gone until that area heats up again

thanks for any tips/suggestions on this issue, i will update as i go

Can you tell whether front or rear? Misalignment of rear brake pads is easy to do.

Did this start after brake work or before?

good luck

well its a sedan so its no like both wells are close... sound is coming from the driver side front. and the last time i changed my front pads were last year, only reason i changed again was because i replaced the rotors.

My old rotors were completely rusted out, and had a lot of grooves along the surface + a nice lip on the outside.

only thing i can think of atm.. would be the rotors were "bad" enough that it heated the wheel bearing to the point that the grease just boiled, even though its a sealed unit

*edit* it was making the sound before pads/rotors*

Raise the suspect wheel and rotate the wheel by hand listening for any unusual sound. You should be able to determine if it's brake pad noise.

Check wheel bearing by feeling the axle shaft nut while turning the wheel. Any vibration or rough feel is indicative of failing bearing.

good luck

bought a bearin from where i work for 23bucks tkx to discount. just gotta take apart assembly and have it pressed in. bearing is only thing i can think of but 0 symptoms of what " I " think a failing bearing would be.
