Unhappy Where to find replacement ***** for 97 Honda stereo?

I have had my 97 Accord wagon EX for about 2 months now. While it basically runs well, there's lots of little things that I am working on fixing or replacing.

Here is one of my pet peeves: missing stereo *****! I've attached a pic so you can see my stereo with the missing volume and small inner bass/treble *****.

The stereo works fine but I'd really like to get replacement ***** without spending a fortune. Any ideas of where I can order them? Thanks!

The dealership or a junkyard are your two options.

The volume button (#3) is $9 new. The bass/treble and fade **** (#5) is $5. #4 is really expensive, ($60), so don't break that part.

Thanks very much for the reply. $14 seems high for 2 small plastic *****, but maybe I have no choice.

Every Accord I see at the junkyard already has the radio stripped out. Maybe other models (Civics, Preludes, etc) from that era had the same model radio?

I will continue to look online and if I can't find a deal at least I know I can get them at the dealership.

90-97 accords and 88-91 preludes use #5. Only 90-97 accords have #3.

Most junkyards remove the radio before putting the car out. Check in the junkyard office. They will probably make you buy the radio as an entire unit.

I happen to have a junkyard in town near me and went and saw 3 or 4 97's with radios in them. I can grab the ***** if you like and you can paypal me or something and Ill mail them. shouldn't be more than 10 bucks shipped i would think.

Thanks for the offer! I actually found some ***** when I went to the pull-a-part last weekend looking for a different part. My radio is now complete and looks much better.
