Whinny power steering

Whinny power steering
Here's one for ya. Been chilly here in Northern Cali (28 degrees this morning) and the first 15 minutes or so my power steering sounds like a cow getting a prostate exam, mostly when turning, but somewhat while accelerating as well.
I don't think the fluid has ever been flushed and it's not low as far as I can tell.
Anybody ever try the aftermarket additives?
Also, this is the first time/season it has done this.

I would just try a flush/change of the Honda power steering fluid first, since it may not have ever been changed.
Power steering fluid is hygroscopic, in that it absorbs moisture from the air over time. It may be due to the accumulated water in the system freezing.

the level cold is at the minimum mark on the reservoir, i think i'm gonna drive it, get it hot and top it off if it's low with honda fluid and go from there. rock auto sells a seal kit with all the orings for it. i'll let ya know what happens. oh, no visible leaks either.

The fluid will not leak out, from the inlet joint o-ring, since the fluid doesn't stay in the hose up at the pump. The pump will suck air through the bad o-ring, but very little fluid will escape until the o-ring is really bad.

So I took a peek in the fluid reservoir while running and the fluid is a bit low and bubbly, but not really foamy. I'm going to replace the orings, and flush the fluid sometime this week. See attached images, what oring(s) need replacement?

It's the hose going from the reservoir to the pump, and the o-ring is at the pump end of the hose. Here's a DIY someone on another forum did. If you have any questions, just ask.
