White smoke from engine after Seafoam treatment
I just used 1/3 can of Seafoam through the PVC valve of my 91 accord (320k miles), and after (or while) I did it, white smoke was coming from the engine bay. It looked at first like it was coming from the valve cover but then I saw that it was coming from below the VC... It did fix my idle problem (thank God) and it also made my car run better, but i'm kind of surprised / worried about this smoke from the engine even though it did go away.
But what could this be? Is it a bad problem? I read on another forum that its a leak coming from the flexpipe, but what think ye?
Thanks.
Misha

you have a exhaust leak. The white smoke is all the carbon burning. IF it's coming from the engine bay then you must have a exhaust leak b/c the white smoke wont occur until the the sea foam burns the carbon. Check your header and down pipe to the cat and make sure your exhaust is not broken or any of the flanges are lose. It might be as simple as bad exhaust gaskets
