Wiper problem(slow, fast, inter. not working)
I have 96 Accord LX, SEDAN 4 DR, 2.2L L4 PFI SOHC 16V.
I am having problems with my wiper.
The wiper works only with mist control option.
The wiper doesn’t work (no action on windshield) in slow, fast and intermittent mode.
When I toggle the modes between slow, fast and intermittent, I can hear a click sound near the passenger side dashboard. It’s not a continuous clicking sound. It’s heard once for every change in mode.
Also my wiper doesn’t park anymore. When I use mist control, the wiper bangs on both side of the windshield.
Need to know which part to change (wiper switch or relay)?
If its relay, can someone help me locating the relay.
Thanks for your help in advance.

RE: Wiper problem(slow, fast, inter. not working)
i don't think anyone here can tell you exactly what to replace till it is properly diagnosed , So DO NOT throw your money away and start replacing parts ,,could be a bad motor as well..bad linkages .. bad switch ..
have you tried wiggling ,( back anf forth) gently the wiper switch see if it comes on ?
the intermitt wiper relay is located below the under hood fuse box it has 5 wires going to it( white,,, green/black,,,black...green/red... blue/white )

RE: Wiper problem(slow, fast, inter. not working)
if this is the duplicate post that I think it is I believe you can remove the steering column cover and test the blue and blue/white wires to see if they have power in the various wiper speed positions, if not, and your fuses are all good, then your combo switch is bad, if there is power then we need to test the relay....
