So solenoid A... It it responsible for both codes or does it have a dastardly friend... Where is solenoid A (next to solenoid B? Cos I know where that sucka is) and what are the chances that replacing this part will end my woes...

They are different solenoid valves.
Excellent... And their location?

See attached.

Generally with these codes, the techs would first drain the ATF through a strainer to check for metal debris or excessive clutch material.

Ok.. I know where the a/t clutch pressure control solenoid is... It's just below the mass air control is... It's a tandem double solenoid plate A, B..

shift solenoid A I'm not sure of yet.. My guess its next to shift solenoid B?

It's near the front of the car, radiator side. Shift Control Solenoid Valve A has a 2P Black connector; whereas, Shift Control Solenoid Valve C has a 2P Brown connector.

Ok... Thanks... I know I can get shift solenoid A for around 60 bucks... But apparently the tandem a/t clutch pressure control solonoids A and B are (dropped jaw) DAMN 400 bucks at autozone... Suggestions on a site that won't force me and my kids to eat ramen for a month to buy the parts?

OK, sorry for confusion; that's what I get for skimming the first couple postings. I feel pretty silly for not seeing that in the first post...
