Default 2004 Honda Accord Intake

Sorry, I know there's already a million of these posts but I wanted to get a bit more personal help.
About a month ago I just bought my own car (I'm 19 a drove a '92 nissan maxima that was a gift), I bought a 2004 Honda Accord V-6 coupe. I've never done any upgrades and was looking to make a new intake my first. I've done research on some AEM cold air intakes but I'm still a bit spooked by hydrolock, I just started doing research on short RAM intakes, but some people talk about having problems with heatsoak, so what do you all recommend here?
Thanks

cold air intake with bypass valve. Bypass valve stops hydro locking from happing.

I have had both SRI and CAI...heat soak...ehhh I wouldn’t worry about it with a sock car. When you get heavy modified this can become a factor with tuning when you have high compression. But for the most part you don’t have to worry about either. Just if you get allot of rain where your from just grab a bypass valve if you are using a CAI.
