Default 2008 accord v6 exhaust upgrade

hey guys. so i want to upgrade my exhaust and since I don't know what I am doing..once again lol. I of course came to you guys for inputs.

I know I want a Magnaflow but which one is for my 08 v6 sedan? I went on their site and they are mentioning one for a coupe, do I just buy that one and add a 2" extension at a local shop?.

also I don't want it to be too loud at all just something that sounds deeper and sportier then the stock exhaust not something that sounds cheap, rattles and is ricey.

and lastly do I need a j-pipe and test pipe setup? would I be fine with just the bolt on cat back? and if I do need a j-pipe and test pipe would I be able to pass the inspection in nyc?

do I delete cats? do i keep my cats? I'm so confused please help lol looking to upgrade withing the month and have not one clue about exhaust system and how they are setup.

thanks!!

if you have smog test then you will fail by taking off your cat. Also if you don't get a C.A.R.B rated exhaust/intake or any preference parts you will fail as well. I don't know a thing about the v6's except I don't care for them so I can't help you out any father than this..sorry
