Anyone Have Exhaust Ideas
Hey I am new to the forums and I am looking to do some work to my 03 Honda Accord EX. It's a coupe. I have a 4 cylinder so I only have a single exhaust. I am looking to do a dual, so I am going to buy 2 mufflers and have my muffler place fabricate a catback for me. HKS, APEXI come to mind, but maybe a magnaflow will produce the sound I'm looking for. Anyone agree or have some better suggestions? Not looking for a deal so any price is cool.
What a good exhaust that sounds low and has more of a rumble than a whine. (no rice sound) All suggestions would help.
Any suggestions for a CAI would help as well. I have heard INJEN and AEM are great and K&N is okay for imports but the two previous are better.
Thanks
Dan

a dual setup would hurt performance on your car. alot of V6s dont even need it. i recommend the Greddy SP2 (of course right) i convinced another 7th gen owner to get one and he loves it. heres a link to it.

i wouldnt recommend a dual set up either. and that 7th gen owner who Velo convinced to get the SP2 is me. i love it and it has a nice deep tone and isnt too loud. as for the intake, i recommend the Fujita CAI, it sounds really nice, and produces pretty good performance gain. those are the two products i recommend.

I to have heard that a dual setup can hurt your performance. As for exhaust, my brother has the Greddy SP2 and it sounds really good. I've got the Greddy EVO2 and it also sounds really good. They actually sound almost the same. And they are both catbacks.

i personally prefer the skunk2 megapower. seems ideal since skunk2 is made exclusively for hondas..and acuras. it sounds very nice.

RE: Anyone Have Exhaust Ideas
I actually don't care much for performance. I am not looking to take my car to the track or race. I am actually looking to do a dual setup more for looks. Since I have the space under my car and the bumber cutout there I figure it would look nicer with a dual setup. The 5 or so hp loss if that means absolutely nothing to me. I want more of a show car than a car to race. I had a Mustang and that was my car to tune. Now that I am older I don't care much for racing anymore show is more important.
