Depends on the quality of the weld. How long did the original last? I'm considering going with DC when I get my header next month but I haven't heard a lot about weld quality on them.

The weld will eventually blow again or another will appear so it might be best to just get a new one now, but you could give it some time and see how your weld does, and if it blows again just go get a new header or go back to OEM.

I go along with Peli on this subject.
The DC products are pretty darn good and should give
you good performance and service.

don't wast your money on DC header...save your money and get a bisi header. Lots more power but twice the price of DC.

DC-$300+ = maybe 3-4hp gain
bisi-$600-800 = 10+ HP gain depending on what style you go with. (the f22a header made 26hp UNTUNED

Bisi as this better cash to power ratio….got’s to pay to play

My reason behind getting a header is mostly because my exhaust manifold has a crack running all the way around it. Decided instead of going used OEM for around $85 I'd just pop for a DC at $280 and see a couple HP, some good sound and sleek looks out of it.

I would run OEM before DC ANY day of the week. DC is overpriced for what it is IMO. I just don't see why or how to spend $300 on a header that does not give much of a power gain. To me it's OEM or custom...my custom choice is bisi. The man is a f-in genius. Why all his products make such good power is b/c he went to school for fluid dynamics. So everything he makes is broke down into math to make the most amount of power possible. I have NEVER in my life seen a header and down pipe make 26hp untuned you can see 30hp gain with a tune. An that is on a 100% stock f22a engine

wonder if he makes those things for h series or dohc f20b's

P.S. yes they do and the thing cost 1k lol, geeze...

i feel like a all motor build would cost more than a turbo build

yeah he makes one for the h22/f20b engines. You can get in a group buy on cb7tuner.com and get it for like 800. I will be buying one....I'm stayin OEM manifold till I have the money for the bisi header. You can buy it from him for like 700ish but that is mild SS and no coating. I'm getting the better one with the full coating and everything. It will be well worth it. An it looks supper sexxxxxxyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

Bisi's headers are really really beautiful. I wish I had enough money to spend that amount on a header.

You would think they would make turbo manifolds too.
