Default ebay headers

I basically have nailed it down to either OBX or Megan racing headers for my 4 cyl. accord. Theyre about the same price so i was just wondering if you guys reccomended one of these over the other, as i have read good things about both, or if they are basically the same thing. Thanks

Don't know much about the Megan Product, but have sold OBX products for over 5 years and never had any problems with the products welds or fit on the models they fit.

Only adverse thing I have heard about OBX is the gasket that comes with the Header is no good. 19Accord97 did a big write up somewhere about his OBX headers a long time ago. Might want to try searching fro that. Other than the gasket, I have never heard anything bad about OBX. Not sure about Megan.

I assume i can keep my stock exhaust with these headers... Also does anyone have any experience with either of these headers on their car??

19Accord97 had the OBX, I think he's back to stock after they warped on him. I've heard better things about Megan than OBX. If I were you, I'd buy the Megan, spend $10-20 at a local machine shop machining the face of it flat and buy a different gasket before installing them. Just to make sure you don't blow a gasket.

Just make sure to get SS headers...although my Ceramic DCSports have not given me any problems. Should be 5-6 years. I mean, that is if you machine the headers, fit on a new gasket, and do a good weld job, bolt them in tight....check on them every couple weeks for the first 2-3 months, then monthly for the next 4. then you can leave them alone. xP

Default ebay header review

I bought a 96 accord with a DC Sports header and a custom bent SS exhaust. The Dc Sports header had more cracks on it then you could imagine. I pulled it off and TIG'd up the cracks and had to weld in patch panels at the cat flange. From what I could see the DC Sports header is poorly made and the weld quality sucks. I've been welding for over 20 years so I know what I'm talking about. i decided to give some ebay stuff a try. i bought a SS header and cat back combo. I also got an intake all shipped for like $200. i figured if it doesn't fit I can mke it fit. Well it came and I ws impressed. All TIG welded, excellent looking beads, header tubes where nice and all internal weld areas, flanges etc where cleaned up and smooth. This header was 1000x better then the DC sports. The cat back also was high quality. Everything bolted up perfectly the EX header was the right length unlike the old Dc sports header I had. I used the supplied gaskets with no issues so far, everything went smoothly my old stuff gave me more headaches coming off then anything. i highly recommend this stuff. You just can't beat under $200 full SS exhaust from the head back. i got it from racinghouse on ebay. The intake filter I got was cheesy and it doesn't come with a good mount bracket but it was better then what i had. All in all I give it a 10 out of 10, fit, finish and sound are excellent. I'm running it without the fart can baffle and I like the sound. Not bad at all at freeway speeds. The car even with 209K has more get up and go now its breathing easier now. I'll post pics if i ever get my camera back.

Every seet of DC's that myself or friends have used has cracked. I love there suspension tie bars, but seriously their welds are crap. I boutght a cheap set of headers off ebay last year. $85 shipped. And they are better quality . Ony complaint about them is that although they claim they're direct fit, I had to remove my A/C because the pipes were bent too close to the A/C lines. Other than that, they're great. Beat paying $130 for the flex pipe that broke on my stock system.
