exhaust tip

if i get an exhaust tip for my car, will it have the loud roar?

I'm looking to get a quality exhaust tip for an '03 EX v-6. Just picked up the car yesteerday. Can you advise where I can pick them up?

Well, I'm not much of an expert so take my advice for what its worth, but since the exhaust tip is simply for style and not performance you can pick it simply by its looks. I don't think you need to worry too much about high end brand names or anything like that. However, if you want to replace the whole catback system you'll be looking at a much better sound (a loud roar) and an increase in horsepower instead of a simple cosmetic change. It will be a good bit more expensive though. I know different brands have different sounds, so you may want to search the forums a little for a post about what sounds like what so you get exactly what you want. If you want a nice sound an exhaust tip won't do much good. Good luck.
