filter box screw

so i tired installing a cold air intake but i decided not to cause he filter would be sitting at the bottom of the car and when winter comes, its going to suck in snow and crap and mess up my car. thats what i hear around this area. ANYWHO, one screw broke in half. its on of the screws that hold down the filter box. their is two screws and the other one is still fine. do you guys think that ill be fine driving around with one broken screw? THANKS!

You should be all set. With everything that gets connected to the whole assembly that should hold it in place. When I put in my sri I found that there weren't any screws holding the filter box down! Never had any issues though. Maybe and sri is more your taste anyway...

SRI or a bypass valve should be your solution then... as far as the screw goes like slusher said don't worry about it, I had a car without any screws in there as well and it was fine (it may rattle a bit at times) if that bothers you then get some 3M double sided sticky tape (the super strong foam stuff) and use that to secure it

OH YEA! that tape thing is a GREAT idea. I know exactly what your talking about, i have that stuff sitting around. ill do that if it ever starts to rattle. THANKS!
