Hi everyone was just curious about hp gains on my honda.I just got a aem v2 cai and a greddy evo2 catback for my 04 accord coupe(v6).What should i be looking at as far as gains? I was thinking around 8 hp.Am i in the ballpark?Also what other minor mods could i do?Was thinking of a pulley kit.Headers are out of the question for 03 and up as far as i understand.

well to my knowlegde with the cai it should be about 7-8 and the exhaust about another 5-6 i believe not sure though. so your looking at about 12-13 hp gain right there. and with the pulley kit it should be about another 5-6 i believe. you could change the wires for the spark plugs also.....hope it helps

 

i can agree, you brought good quality parts so the horse power gains should be there. if you do spark wires and plugs you might be looking aoround 4-5hp. You can also upgrade the ECU altough not really a minor mod upgrade, It can be done. Upgrade ECU can get you around 10-20hp

Ngk plugs i heard work great with honda. You wanna get the racing style ones which is double platium i tihnk our idirium not really sure don know much about plugs. For wires well you looking for anything that will give you more voltage to the plugs so look on ebay for some. I got mine from ebay for $30 bucks and they worked great. but for 6 cylinder they will cost more. for Ecu you have to buy the chip and install it your self. I heard muguen makes some sweet chips you should check it out.

check out Import Tuner's set up for a EX 4 banger... i know yours is a 6 cyl if ya got the 6 speed, but the overall numbers should be more... i wouldn't be surprised if your gains are high since you've got a V6...
