Maybe BllkCurrantKord can fill us in. Non traditonal headers b/c the cats are built in right??
I;m confussed!
I've read here in the strings something about, now this sound dumb, welded headers! No way right? Ive only had this car a mnth and haven't stuck my head that farunder the hood(easy guys don't get funny here). Seeing as where I live where we're doing good to see a day over 40 and my driveway is gravel I'm not out there now looking for myself.
Is ittrue?
If not! All I can figure is the aftermarket guys just haven't starting tooling for the 3.0 V'6s since there are so many guys into the 4,s and not many guysthat are willing to start hacking (excusse me installing aftermarket parts) altering stock &affraid ofvoiding thier warranty.

The newer 3.0l engines have the exhaust manifold built into the block, it's not a removable part. I don't know when this began so hopefully those with more knowledge will enlighten us all.

I think you're stuck using the oem cats and can only replace the exhaust from the cats and on back.

so basically he wouldnt be able to do his whole exhaust system is what you're saying...thats pretty interesting but in a way i can see why...the 7th generation accords seem more into the luxiorous side then in the performance...that generation seem to be more focused on style in my opinion..
