Default Honest opinion on DC Sports headers

Does anyone out there actually HAVE these installed in their car? I mean I've heard people say their expensive and they break easily but do any of you who say that actually have them or your just talking about what you've heard from mouth of mouth? I have a buddy who said he had these on his EVO and he liked them but upgraded to some titanium ones. Whatever the case may be im stationed in California right now but my car has a Florida registation. I smogged my car once to get my new base stickers. Now I know california is all liberal about this CARB bulls*** but that doesn't apply to me because I'm not registered here. So if you guys say that DC Sports sucks and their not worth $300 then what would you suggest? What brand and finish would you recommend and do you currently have or did you have those installed? Let me know. So far I found some DC Sports for $305.

I have the DC Sports ceramic, put it on in '02. After 5 WI winters, no rust or apparent wear. Perfect fit, no gasket leaks.

RTexas has some on his Accord but they are SS.
So ask him and ^ and see which is right for you.

Eh, go for Megan Racing. Same quality but about half as much. I put a Megan header on my H22 if that tells you anything. Ive had it for a few seasons now, it's holding up well. DC is so much because you pay for the CARB exempt thing.

I went with the stainless version of the DC Sports header several years ago. I felt that the SS would hold up better over the long term and the CARB sticker would keep me out of trouble during annual inspection. No leaks, no runs, no errors, at about three years usage.

I don't have a header, but I wanted to thank you for what you do for our country[sm=usa.gif]. I do not believe you soldiers get the recognition you deserve, and I have nothing but respect for you.

From all of the reading I have done, it seems most people who don't have to have a carb sticker always go with Megan or OBX since they are so much cheaper and are fairly problem free (OBX do have issued with the gaskets they come with though.) I haven't got a header because I don't want to lose any low end torque.
