wondering if putting a cold air intake and after market exhaust on a 1993 accord needs to have the ECU reset.... thanks...

I don't see a reason to do that... the ECu should adjust itself to any change in the car by itself (that what the sensors are for)

if anyone has more info than me plz let me know... i feel like there's something im missing...

Reset will force the ECU to re-learn the idle behavior & re-learn the little variations to the fuel map. Of course, the ECU will learn that anyway over time. Reset will clear any information that's already stored, so learning the behavior of the new equipment is a bit faster.

But I'm not sure how much of that a 93 is capable of learning. Also, don't know whether intake & exhaust have much affect at all on the idle.

well ive been sick so i havent done anything.. but i tried to log on today and find my post to update and the fckin search wont bring up my post... wont even go through what i had to do to get here.. but no i have not reset the ECU yet but I am going to tomorrow.. and on another question how big of a deal is it to replace the main real seal..... do I need a engine jack.. ? thanks for everything guys... !!!!

If you are not sure about it don't take any risk go to the authorisd dealor he will guide you the right way and will help you come out of the problem...
