is intake worth it

yeah it will help significantly. Not any more than 6 or 7 HP, though. My advice, DO NOT GET A COLD AIR INTAKE... I think it is a waste of money. Go to PepBoys, Autozone, or a store like that and get the cheapo brand cone air FILTER, and then figure out how to put it on the stock intake hose. it will have the same effect as a $200+ CAI.
and about having 220,000 miles, as long as the car is in good working order (timing, no rod knock, or rough idle, etc.) you will be fine. I put a cone air filter on my car with 182,000, now it has 214,000 miles and still running great.
Inside secret: The car is still faster at night even with the filter in the engine bay, cold air still gets in there

yeah, but I don't really care about turbulence cuz the upgrade was enough. Would've been a waste to spend $200 and get a pipe that reduces a little turbulence.

It’s not just the turbulence it's the "tornado" effect your paying for also. But when trying to actually make power all motor tho's little things count. Just like getting a crush bent exhaust...turbulence like a ****. I guess it just depends on how serious you are about building up your engine.
