I've been looking also and have only found '08's. What I don't know is do they fit the V6 '09 engine. I'll keep watching this post.

Ya, the engines are the exact same in fact the whole car is (the extra 3 hp just magically appeared... probably a different dyno) I was just wondering if anyone new of a cheap place to buy the K&N. Frankly I don't trust the other ones.

Default K&N Typhoon Short Ram Intake is on and awesome!!!

I put on the K&N Short Ram Intake on my '09 Accord V6 and it looks, sounds and performs great! Pretty easy install - took about 1.5 hours. The instructions were close enough - could have used some color pictures instead of the b&w ones.

It looks great. As for the performance, all I can say is WOW. What a difference. Below 2,500 rpms, not much difference, but if you give it more than on inch of gas pedal the thing ROARS and takes off. Sounds like a Camero or Mustang (only analogy I can think of) - very throaty.

If you haven't done this mod, I would highly recommend it. I'll let you know how the gas mph turns out soon.

Default let us know

hey chris:
yes let us know about the mpg, better, worse, the same. Is your Accord auto or stick?

I have a 6spd. Going to do the mod in the spring. That link I left in an earlier post sometimes raises the price to the popular $321 price. But Kens wholesale has it for $249 free shipping.

I also didn't know that there would be any throaty or performance sound. Quite surprised by that. I actually would rather no extra sound, just extra performance, but hey that's me.

Please keep us informed..regards...

Talking K&N Is One Of Our Main Sponsors

Look at the top of page and you can see that..

Ask them your questions on your K&N intakes and I'm sure they will
give you the correct info instead od GuessTaMates...
