And...I still need to worry about piping (2.5" because my vehicle is not turboed) at the muffler shop. And how long the piping has to be due to the size of the mufflers!

Is this horsepower & torque at the wheels or at the crank? If it is at the wheels, it wouldn't surprise me if it is correct.

 

I dunno...whatever "average corrected horsepower" means...

 

It's at the wheels and seems very realistic to me, the AEM that is. I can't see the other one very well.

 

The Injen one is straight off the box. It has three colors....red, black, and dotted black. What they mean, I have no idea, but its a torque graph.

EDIT- Keep in mind, these prices are just for the muffler...I need to contact the muffler shop about the 2.5" piping (mandrel bent) down to whatever inlet size it is. Most are not 2.5" Apexi is close with 2.36", then Borla/Magnaflow/Bosal (probably)with 2.25"

How much would the pipe job cost? $200+?

 

I would tend to shy away from a $90 muffler, but thats just me. I dont know how much searching you have done, you may be able to find a cheaper Apexi than that. Just a thought. When you get a quote for the custom piping, let us know how much its going to be.
