my review of the AEM short ram intake
this is the exact intake i got
http://www.cardomain.com/item/AEM22407B
it took exactally 13 days to arrive (free shipping)
the install took me about 2-3 hours, because i was being stupid and the stock IAT sensor hose wasnt long enough, so i had to go to pep boys and get a longer one for $1.50
it looks great inside the engine bay and you will feel a difference, because the engine doesnt require as much work to get up to speed as before, but i havent heard a difference driving the car because my muffler is louder than the intake...
AEM is great, it comes with all the necessary parts and its a great fit too, i recommend it to anyone who is looking for a short ram intake, and its worth the price because it comes with the new dryflow filter, which doesnt require oiling
the filter is also lifetime warranty, so you dont have to worry about it breaking either

RE: my review of the AEM short ram intake
I have always wondered how the sri's that are shorter than mine can cost more?! Mine was $109 but there is quite a bit more tubing. But, the bigger name brand intakes are overpriced (But still worth it).
I mean, AEM's DryFlow filter can be bought for under $50 so how can they charge $50 more for a various length of tube thats been painted?! lo I know its been tuned n' such but still!l

is my intake not at full potential because where the filter is placed?
its right behind the battery, so maybe not enough air will go into the filter?

that's where it's supposed to be....i do suppose you can position the filter lower to get cooler air, but let's face it...when you're at a cruising speed, it does not matter. CAI or SRI.
