Need a muffler or and exhaust system, and a short ram air intake
Hello,
I want to buy an exhaust system or a muffler and a short ram air intake. I have a 2005 Accord 2.4L EX.
I tried to find an AEM short ram air intake but i guess they don't make any for my car. So if u guys know a good company that would sell them please let me know.
Then I want to buy this exhaust system or muffler and i want to know if u guys have a recommendation for me.
Thanx

Injen doesn't make short air for your car and neither does AEM. AEM only makes the intake for the V6. And Injen only makes CAI for the I4. I would say that your best off getting a pipe to fit from some cheap eBay kit if you can find one, throw the filter away, and buy an AEM or a K&N filter for the pipe. The only bad thing about most of the cheap pipes is that they don't have the greatest mounts, but it might be the only way to go. The filters, however, are great if you get K&N or AEM.
As for exhaust, there are many possibilities. You can search and find a catback system that is direct bolt on via a popular brand (i.e. Magnaflow, Flowmaster (Probably doesn't have the whole catback), Megan, DC Sport, etc.) Or you can do what I'm going and buy a universal muffler (Dual tip is what I'm going for, but it depends on what you like) a high flow cat, and headers. Then I'm having a shop bend the pipes and put it together for me. Either way you go, you're going to spend a minimum of $400 if you buy good quality parts.

Go to local exhaust shop and you can get a full cat back made. Crush bent you want 2.5' piping...mandrel bent you want 2.25' piping then find a muffler. Mandrel bent it the way to go but more $$$ crush bent should be around $120 w/o muffler.

Oh, and a tip. If you want something from Magnaflow's site, I recommend searching the part number on eBay. Magnaflow's intentions are to sell wholesale to companies or small businesses so they don't have to deal with as much work. And you can find almost any Magnaflow muffler on eBay for $100-$150 cheaper than it is on their site.

Check out Magnaflow's site. They have A LOT of options to choose from. You may end up not getting one of their's, but it's a start. And like I said, if you DO want one of there's, you'll get it cheaper if you search the product number on eBay.

Probably Low-Emmission Vehicle.
That means it's not for a ULEV vehicle.
It probably would have been more clear if they had said...
"for cars without a MAF sensor in the aircleaner"
because I THINK(?) that's the difference.
