i have 2000 accord ex v6 and im getting an aem sri. i want to make another modification but i am confused on what to focus on next. i have spent much time looking at cat back systems, mufflers, headers, etc and i need opinions on whats the next upgrade i can make to my car to improve performance. should one of the above be my next move or am i missing an easier modification? Please post your opinions on anything you think i should consider.

how easy are headers to put in and how much power will i gain with the rest of the exhaust stock?

 

The only difficulty with putting in a good set of headers is removing the stock exhaust bolts if they've rusted at all..... You can expect gains of anywhere from 5 -15 HP depending on a lot of different factors....

 

is it possible to swap headers without a lift. also what headers would u reccomend.

 

You can do headers without a lift, you'll want a jack though.... As for brands if you're in California I think you're limited to DC Sports (CARB Exempt) which are fantastic headers but spendy... A number of people on here have gone with OBX and had good luck and they are cheaper
