19Accord97, do you have a link to buy just the muffler? Someone, at one point, had a cat-back set up on my car and just removed the muffler when they sold/traded it. All the piping is good, it just that restricted stock muffler on there that is killing me! Thanks for any help.

Yeah no problem Slusher, Ill do a quick search. I posted it before but its hard to find. It comes in two inlet diameters, but be warned, they arent cheap.

I'd sell you my WS2 cat back...but it wouldnt be a possibility as of now! I plan on getting one of the cheap ebay ones, or just a new axleback section once I hopefully get a job at State Farm.

Here are the links.

Hope that helps! Oh, and if you get it from some other place make sure its the WS2 and not the WS. Sometimes, they'll list the WS2 and its really the 1st one. The original World Sport is a smaller oval canister compared to the WS2.

Havent heard from you in awhile Slusher! Hows it going?

Hey 19Accord97, as always thanks for the help. You weren't kidding about them being a little pricey. I wish I could find just a performance muffler with the appropriate hangers and just bolt it on. But it seems that it is either a universal muffler (requires some work to utilize stock exhaust hangers) or its the whole set up (cat-back, axle back).
Anyways, things have been busy, that's why I haven't been posting for a month or so. I work around 70 hours a week and sleeping and eating are considered a delicacy. I am glad to see you on the forums helping people out. What's next for your Accord?

Yeah, everything is so darned expensive. Well, if you really find a univeral muffler that you like, a shop like Midas or Meinike doesn't really charge that much to get the muffler welded on, and I think it will require two hangers. Shouldnt be all that much, just call em' up. Im guessing 10-30 bucks to get the hangers and such. I dont know if you use a welder at all, but if you or some friends do, you could always use the rods fom the exhaust you have on it now and try to modify it. Since the canister is larger, all you would have to do is remove the rods from the current muffler and make them shorter, I would think. Midas can always weld new hangers on to for cheap.

I know what you mean though, I have been trying to find an axleback muffler to replace the last section of my Apexi exhaust but am not sure if anything will bolt up right. As for helping, people have helped me so I try to do the same back!
Next for my Accord? Well I may *cross fingers* get a internship at State Farm and with that money I would get:
17 or 18' black gloss rims with a polished/chrome lip
Black 1 piece halo projectors
CF hood
Racing seats
Tint
and TYC Jaguar tail lights if enough $$ is left over. Then I will consider my car done except for minor dress ups and such.
