OE V6 Exhaust on my L4
i did a little searching. and according to diagrams i found. the v6 pass side piping and muffleris almost identical to my L4's. directly after the 'pre muffler baffle' is where the split happens. why couldnt i ****** some v6 pipes and grommets and viola?
is my car equipped with the appropriate hangers and such?
am i dumb to think this would have some pony-gain? more flow, right?

RE: OE V6 Exhaust on my L4
yeah that would be an issue, but what gave me the idea was a friend who has a junkyard . yes i know somethings gonna give... either cost or quality. then again my exhaust guy probably wouldnt charge too much for 2 mufflers, and a little pipe bending.
any advice on getting more performance (mpg included) without the ricy sound? everyone says ws2 or megan but theyre still loudER. im hoping this, removing that baffle anda good flowing cat will make a difference.

It might just work... or get an aftermarket exhaust with a silencer to make it more quiet... it would cut into your gains very minimally but to keep exhaust quiet means to baffle or restrict it somehow... If quiet was fast then formula 1 cars would be silent
