Default piping/muffler?

i have been looking for a different dual tip muffler for my 95 accord and havent had much luck to what i like. so i was thinking, will it work if i take for example a acura cl muffler and bring it to a shop and have them weld up the muffler so it fits properly with the correct hangers. will that work? next does anyone have a guesstimate on how much it will cost to have the exhaust repiped. thanks

Most muffler shop work is fairly inexpensive, as long as the canister isn't to big it should fit just fine and I would guess that it'll cost around $50.00.

Yeah, I'm doing the same thing for my car. Except not a CL muffler, just using an Apexi muffler I got off eBay, and have them weld it onto the old exhaust piping. Meineke is charging me $50-$60 for it he said.
