short intake manifold help

Default short intake manifold help

Have hit a problem with my engine swap the intake manifold is too big for the car so need a short one or throttle bodies, my engine is the F20Z1 is there any other intake manifolds that will fit in the honda range as i can not find throttle bodies listed for this engine

go to the pick n pull or just buy a CAI or SRI and call it a day

What i'm trying to say is that the main manifold is too big to fit in the gap i've got to fit it in and i need a smaller one

so your sayin the intake mani is hittin the fire wall??...I’m still unsure of your prob.??? what gap are you talkin about? be little more clear and detailed with your post(s) cus I’m just takin shots in the dark now cus I’m not sure what your asking.

sorry yes its hitting the firewall the honda one is 11" deep but i only have 7"!!!

what car is this bein swapped into?...the engine you have is the single slammer right?...if so I would imagine that any of the f series intake manifolds will fit since all the f series heads have the same port pattern....I’m don’t know too much about the f20s as I do about the f22s. Do some research on the ports on your head vs. the f22 heads and you might be able to use one of thos.

And are you talking about a diff throttle body, or since your saying bodies, im assuming you mean itb's and if this is so, one will have to be specially made for you, as ive never seen a company that makes them for these cars...

they do make ITB set ups for F and H series engines...they are like $1500 on the low side. Bisi sells them for all honda engines they arnt cheap tho they are like $2300 and up...thats just crazy talk right there...thats the pice for a whole h22 swap!

Thanks for your ideas but i can not find anything that will fit so i have started to make the plates up to fit a set of nissan pulsar turbo ITB's that way at least it'll be ready for when i turbo it.
The car its all in is a nissan Micra but i think you call it a March, will post pics soon and then you'll know what i mean.
