Default Trouble installing CAI on any of your '91 Accords?

Ok so I've had an AEM CAI in my closet for the past couple of months and it's starting to get nice out again so I figure I'll throw it up on the hoist at work and install within the next couple of weeks.

HOWEVER. I've been looking at the bay and I can just see all the potential headaches that might come with this installing this mod. Does anyone have any stories, suggestions, or comments on any of their experiences installing a CAI in their '91 Accord?

I can't say about a 91 accord but I installed one on my 94 Civic and I saw what you did... oh @#$@# this could suck, I had to replace a motor mount and everything... but low and behold it was simple, I followed the AEM instructions and it took me like 30 minutes and I was working in a small/cramped garage with tools scattered. I don't recall needing any deep wells or anything special, just the Standard import sockets (10, 12, and 15 for my car if I remember properly...) Good LUCK! if you do get it installed post some pictures/steps of your install if you can for peoples future referance

Thanks for the reply. I can see how the CIV and ACC or similar, I'm just dreading taking out parts and having to put them back in. **** always happens when you fiddle with it. I work at a Honda dealership (Oh I know you guys are jealous), so I have all the tools and I'll definitely throw some pics up on my cardomain website.

you have a lift and a team of mechanics at the dealership and you're worried??? *L* I had a dirty garage floor, a jack that slowly looses pressure and a toolbox with everything in one or two drawers... You should have no issues

in a 92-95 civic you have to remove/replace one of the front motor mounts...

i put one on my old 91 accord and it took my about 10 min. but on thing that i did that took a little more time was took the secondary air box and cut it so that the cone would sit in it then, went and got some pvc pipe and ran some to the front of the bumber(getto yes i know but worked.) total time i spent was about 3 hours because it took time to get everything to fit. but when i did get it to work i loved it in my car. so do be afared to do it. but i would take the secondary air box and make the cone sit in it. your going to need a saws all to do it.
