ulev-vtec intake question

i have a 01 accord ex and wondering what type of intake im needing and where to get one from.
most likely ebay is choice but just need to know if i need to get a SRI or a CAI...

well it really depends. if you live in a area where it rains alot then i would recommend getting a sri. but if not then a cai is ok too. just remember to get a bypass valve when and if you get a cai because you dont want to hydrolock your car. and you have to remember if you do live in california then you have to get a carb exempt intake. if not then a ebay one is just fine. just make sure you change the filter to a good one like k&n or aem filter....good luck on your choice

right on man, ya im most likely looking at the SRI, i live in Seattle Wa. so it pretty much rains a good portion of the year.

just ordered an AEM SRI
for the accord. Getting it installed tomorrow.

good luck are you installing it yourself or are you going to take it to the shop to have them do it? its a easy task you could do it yourself

so i got my intake, and all i need is a few brackets to get it to get on there nice and snug...
only 1 questions...
whats with this?

Everything should have been included. With AEM's intake you shouldnt need any other parts. The thing you have circle will attach to your Accord. Most like the buldge from the fender, and the part circled will be bolted between an included bolt head and a rubber mount.
