Default Weekend project

Well this upcoming weekend I have work off, and UPS finally paid me a visit...so time to give the accord a little more kick....

-Tanabe Hyper Medallion Catback
- AEM V2 Intake
- DC Sports Ceramic Coated header

Now, I have a JDM F22b (prelude SI motor) swapped in. The header I got fits that motor, and the catback I got fits a 94 LX 4door...

do you guys think there is going to be any fitment issues lining up the header to the catback? I really hope this is something I'll be able to do in my driveway this weekend and not have to drag the car to an exhaust shop for custom fabbing anything...

You're off.

To the OP - there shouldn't be any fitment issues.

no you're right...the USDM prelude SI is an H23......the JDM prelude si engine is the F22B (almost exactly the same)....

Well to those that are interested, I started at 10am and finished around 3-3:30

I was hoping to feel more power gains than I got, but none-the-less very happy with the end result. I was never into imports/tuners, but I'm starting to step out of my box a little.

The tone from the Tanabe exhaust changes the car entirely...nice and low...doesnt sound like a bunch of bees in a coffee can....not grainy....just REAL throaty. High quality stuff too, would recommend it to just about anyone.

On the downside, I bet I'm going to attract a ton more attention on the highway from 17 year olds with mommy's celica....but thats to be expected....

if you've got a camera I'd love to hear an audio clip of that... Are you getting most of the sound from the intake or the exhaust?
