what will be the best muffler for my exhaust system 1994 accord vti need help

Default what will be the best muffler for my exhaust system 1994 accord vti need help

hey guys i have a 1994 Honda accord vti i have just bought its got 240 000kms everything works no leaks got it for 2300 with 5 months rego. now its time for some mods, i have just installed a pod filter i no its gay to fit a pod but i just need sound from my engine even if it is crappie, its installed properly with piping down to stock box so coopers cant see it, but the car came with extractors/headers im a 2nd year mechanic dont no 2 much bout exhausts yet, so i got no idea what sort of performance gains they already give, and i cant tell how far down or if its a whole system or just the extractors i took some pics, the extractors are painted blue so i can see where the blue coloure stops, but i dont no it has a stock muffler that takes away all the sound i want my car 2 have huge muffler 2 looks crap anyway i have no idea if the extractors are good quality i was wondering if u guys could help out on advice of any info on the installed extractors and what i should do as i want 2 change my muffler for more power and sound. thanks

if you want REAL power don't bother with the exhaust yet. Work on a GOOD name brand intake such as AEM/Injen then look into a cam shaft. But something about your engine is it has a f22bx head...the head flow is for crap. The worst design honda made yet for the accords. What are your power goals and how much money do you have to spend...let's start with that first.,

well you can get yourself a nice AEM or Injen intake for about half that price. Then take the other 300bucks and get a delta cam regrind (100bucks) and a valve train. You will see some nice gains. Also you really want to look into chipping your ecu with chrome and getting a tune AFTER you install all the performance parts you want...search around the forums and get some ideas on what you would like to do with your car.

you have to contact delta I think they are on the west cost of the US. The regrinds is basically taking metal away from the groves of the cam shaft to make the lobes bigger. Or they can add extra material to the lobs for more lift. Many diff. specs for the regrinding. Have to talk to Delta them self’s
