I was running a 75 shot wit hthe ZEX dry system. The set up tapped into your TPS sensor and sprayed when the car hit wide open throttle. I just didn't get as big of a boost as I was expecting I guess. Don't get me wrong, I think a good nitrous kit is worth it and definatly not cheesy. I just wasn't impressed with that ZEX kit.

No bottle heater??? After a second or so, you will lose your nitrous pressure without a heater.

Didn't know that. No I wasn't runnin' a heater. The system was also used when I got it, so who knows if there was any kind of a problem with the silinoid inside the system brain.

If it sprayed and stopped spraying when it was supposed to, I'd think it would have been fine. The bottle heater is a must with a nitrous system! In addition to keeping the power up, it keeps it from snowing in your trunk!

I actually had the bottle right behind the driver seat, which I know is illegal as hell, but hey whatever. It never did frost up or anything. And it did start and stop spraying when it was suppose to. I don't know what the deal was. I even tried the spray nozzle that taps into the air intake in a few different places on the tube to see if it would help. I had it to close to the throttle body the first time.

A dry setup should have the nozzle about a foot upstream of the first intake runner. Very surprising that the bottle and valve didn't frost over.
