Huge difference.

The layout of the intake and where it goes, etc. is totally different. In the four, it slants off and the tube is longer. The 6 forces the manufacturers to create a more compact design...since the engine appears/is larger.

Check out the pictures.

The 6. Notice the design is straight through. Another reason why the intake benefits the 6 a lot more than the 4. Straight flow..no bends or twists.

The I4. Notice the increased length of the tube and bend. The 4 engine is rotated.

Get a piece of hose that is the same diameter as your throttle body and a couple of hose clamps, then find a muffler shop with a mandrel bending tool and have them make you a pipe that will fit in your engine bay and buy an AEM or K&N air filter... It's not as good as one from AEM or name brand but it does help and it will still sound nice.

i think the 05 model will fit mine, but i herd something with the ECU.
i herd that the ECU is totally different from the older version.
The thing is, i really dont know anything about how the whole intake works and wat the ecu does.

ECU is the Engine Control Unit, the cars brain.... It regulates air/fuel ratios, mixtures etc. but if you find an intake that fits the ECU should be able to "adapt" to the increased airflow, if the 05 one fits then there shouldn't be any issues with the ECU, fitment is going to be your main concern...

The intake will be the same for your car as the '05. Check out some pics of an '05 engine and your and they are mirror images....
