Hello everyone, first off please bare with me as this Accord is my first Honda ever. With that said, I couldn't pass up on such a great deal. My problem is that I bought the car and was told it needed a new ECU, I pulled the existing one out and the numbers i found are as follows;37820-P8C-A54 I have tracked down quite a few units from local wrecking yards but the numbers don"t match. My question is, is there interchangeability when it comes to ECU's? obviously within the same family. Or am I stuck with having to find the exact one? Will I have to flash the ECU ? I would greatly appreciate any and all help guys. I have already enjoyed learning new things here, great forum. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately your car is equipped with an immobilizer, so any ECU you get won't work until you bring it to Honda and have it reprogrammed(and I'm sure pay an ungodly fee).
