Hello Everyone,

Hope your all doing great. Got my new Honda, well new to me at least about 2 weeks ago. Love
the car and find the information on this site fantastic. All the Do It Yourself sections makes a guy
like me that normally can only scratch his head when he looks under the hood wanna try some things.
I'd like to thank everyone who posts here.. Some great information.

Only 2 small complaints on the new ride.
1.) Overall a little noisy at highway speeds, nothing terrible, just a littly noiser than I thought.
2.) A little bumby and not as smooth a ride I thought it would be, mostly at highway speeds. Coulb
be the factory installed tires (Michelin's).

Those are my only complaints so far... Overall a very happy Honday Accord Owner.

Hello. Same minor issue here. My Accord is a little bouncy at highway speeds...nothing too bad, just more than I had anticipated...probably depends onwhat you are used to driving. The car seems quiet to me, but then my other car has a Corsa Sport exhaust, so the Accord seems quiet.

 

did you guys break the car in yet???? it take a bit before everything starts to run smoothly.....

Michelin's are pretty darn good tires... Just not so sure the one's being installed at Honda's factory are one of Michelin's top tires.Hey, it's much better than the bald tires I had on my trade in !!

 

To answer your two questions as far as the noise issue I don't see much difference from my last car which was a 2001 nissan maxima and let me tell you that that car was real sound. As far as the bumpy ride yes it is stiffer then the past models and it was intended to be that way to have a sportyer ride.I rather have a stiffer ride and be able to sit adults in back without bottoming the suspension which my maxima did which by the way was it,s weak spot.When reading trials on the accord they mention to try it out before because you might find that it is stiffer than your past accords.
