2013 Accord LX 4cyl starting issue
Hello
I have a 2013 Honda Accord LX 4cyl automatic. It's been a wonderful car. Lately, when I turn the key, all the dash lights come on as normal, headlights are strong, etc. However, I get nothing else. I turn the key back to off, then turn the key again, and it starts fine. I've replaced a few relays, since they were cheap and easy to do (not that they were bad; I did not have them tested). However, that did not work. The battery is good, and the cables are fine. I'm thinking my problem is the ignition switch, which seems to be an easy repair. Just wondering if anyone else has a similar problem and how they solved it. My vehicle has 236,000 miles and is in excellent condition (aside from the above problem.). I also used a spare key, and have the same issue.
Thank you.

Flaky ignition switches have been common in Hondas over a wide range of years.
Remove the plastic shrouds around the steering column & find the electrical part of the ignition switch (opposite the key). Sometimes its mounting screws might be loose & it is moving around. More likely the contacts inside the switch are either burned or worn out.
