2019 Accord Sport 2.0t Manual Performance
Hi All,
I am the current owner of a 2016 Accord EX manual transmission (2.4 L 185 hp). I just recently test drove a 2019 Accord Sport 2.0t manual transmission (252 hp / 273 ft/lbs torque). It was pre-owned but only 2,700 miles. I was expecting the performance to be a significant step up from my 2016 model. Obviously this is subjective and I felt like it was on-par or perhaps a little better than my 2016 but not noticeably so. It could be that my expectations were too high but I want to just check to see if there is something simple (e.g. econ driving mode) that may be a factor. This is my first time test driving the latest generation Accord so I have no reference point. I could test drive a new one for comparison purposes (to confirm nothing is wrong with this pre-owned one). Unfortunately, you cannot really find the manual transmission models new anywhere since they were discontinued last December.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Toliver1
